Alicia smiled as she walked toward the library. She didn't go to the muggle world often but when she did this particular library was usually where she ended up. She just loved it. It was old, beautiful and quite large. It was the perfect place to get caught up in a book without being disrupted. Walking inside she smiled more and walked to one of the far corners where there were a few couches. She sat down on one and pulled a book out of her bag and began reading.

Takara, who had been hidden behind a large tower of books stacked precariously on a coffee table, peeked around them at the girl who had just walked in. She recognized her, but couldn't really place from where, maybe she had gone to Hogwarts? Regardless of what she knew her from, Takara was a bit surprised to see her. Not her personally, but another witch in general. Takara reclined back in her chair again just as the tower of books tumbled over.

As Alicia kept reading she heard a loud crash. She looked over and saw that a pile of books had gotten knocked to the ground and she also saw the girl who was near them. Alicia thought she looked really familiar but couldn't think of what her name was. She shrugged off the thought and went back to reading, not sure if she should go help pick up the books or not.

Takara glanced momentarily at the new arrival as she leaned down to start picking up the books with a sigh. The book she had been reading was sitting on the couch next to her, but as she leaned over the cushion shifted and it fell onto the floor as well. More frustrated than anything else Takara had to fight back the urge not to shoot sparks out of her wand to release some irritation. She glared down at the books instead as she placed them haphazardly back on the table. *If I was at Mum's* she thought to herself, *This would never have happened.* Even Takara could see that she was blowing things a bit out of proportion, but seeing as her nerves were already at their wits end from having to stay with her Father for the summer, she didn't feel like she had to justify her overreactions. She slammed the last book back onto the table and snatched up the one she had been reading and sunk back into the couch, too annoyed to actually read.

Alicia tried not to look back over as she heard the girl slamming books on the table and slamming them on one another. Probably putting them back in that ridiculously high stack, which had been the reason they fell in the first place. Alicia shook her head at that thought and rolled her eyes slightly out of pure habit. She looked back over at the girl as she had begun reading again, or at least looked like she was trying. Alicia raised an eyebrow slightly as she saw a wand sticking out of her pocket. Returning her gaze back to her own book Alicia realized that she was a Slytherin girl not too much younger than herself. Which made her wonder why she was even in here.

Takara could tell she was being stared at, and not only by the girl sitting opposite her. It was just one of those things she could sense. Instead of focusing on the words of the pages in front of her, Takara's mind started to wander. She knew this girl from somewhere. Since she knew she was a witch she assumed it was from school. In which case, she should be able to figure out who she was. She definitely wasn't a Slytherin. Takara would be hard pressed to find any of her house mates within 20 miles of this library. She didn't have that annoying peachy glow of a Hufflepuff either. Takara shrugged it off, toggling between being actually curious or inspired by boredom. She decided on the latter as she looked down at her watch. Father would be expecting her soon, but then again, what did she care? It was all his fault she was in this unfortunate situation anyway? He could wait. Maybe she would grab one of the fabulous muggle coffee drinks she discovered a few days before called "frappacinos". It was a ridiculous name obviously, but they must have put crack in it because she'd been craving another one ever since. *I think I'll get mocha this time.* she thought as she flipped the page in her book absentmindedly.

Not being able to really focus on her book Alicia grabbed a bookmark from her bag and placed it in the spot she had finished reading in. Not where she was now, because for almost ten pages now she had been looking at the page but not really focusing on the words. She was still trying to place a name with a face. She knew the girl was a Slytherin but couldn't think of her name or what year she would be in now. Alicia hated it when she couldn't think of something she really wanted to. It annoyed her to no end and right now wasn't any different. She put her book in her bag and picked it up. She wasn't sure what she was going to do now, but reading didn't seem like an option anymore.

Takara glanced over the top of her book as the other girl made to leave. Was it already her last chance to see who she was? Takara usually appreciated a good puzzle more than most people, but she didn't like being rushed. Now it would take all the fun out of it. She'd be walking down some muggle London street with a Frappacino cupped in her hands and she'd be half way to Surrey with her mind in other places when it hits her. *Oh that girl was ___!* But not even thinking about it like this could make it pop into her head. She need to actually experience it and that was when it was most annoying, when she didn't have complete control over her revelation. Feeling as if it would be a waste to pass up an ideal opportunity for procrastination, Takara decided against her better judgement to speak up. "Um, Excuse me." She said, lowering her book slightly so that it didn't cover her mouth. She hesitated slightly to see if the girl would turn around.

Alicia turned her head slightly when she heard someone talking, figuring it was the girl whose name she couldn't think of. Since she was the only person near by. She wasn't sure why she was talking to her or even if she recognized her. Alicia wasn't sure if she was one of the many Slytherins who disliked Gryffindors, but she didn't think it mattered too much. She was in a good mood today and would be nice. Although if this girl ended up being rude to her she knew she'd be rude right back. That's how it normally happened at least. "Yes?" She answered once she was turned completely.

Takara had half expected her to keep walking, so when she turned to face her Takara was a bit surprised. She set her book down on the table in front of her carefully so that it didn't disturb the large tower that was already notorious for falling down. "I was just wondering if I looked familiar to you?" Takara said choosing her words very carefully. It would have been her impulse to smirk and make her remarks blunt, but she didn't see any reason to start trouble in a muggle library of all places. Not only would magic be out of the question obviously, but one was supposed to behave with a certain decorum and respect for the books. And they were supposed to be quiet. "Because you look a little familiar to me."

Alicia nodded, "Yeah... you do look familiar. School maybe?" Alicia suggested, trying very hard to keep any sarcasm out of her voice along with a tone that might've come off as rude. She was going to try to be civil, especially because they were around muggles and couldn't cause trouble here. Alicia put her bag on her shoulder and held on to the strap out of habit.
